At Prospera, we are committed to fair compensation for the farmers we partner with, enabling them to thrive and sustain their families. Recognizing that farming ranks among the world's most uncertain professions, we offer our farmers guaranteed contracts. This commitment empowers them to secure a stable livelihood and ensures they can nurture their families and communities. Read below for additional ways we support our farmers:

Prospera Foods empowers over 750 smallholder farmers across 20 communities in Nicaragua, providing them with tools, resources, and opportunities for sustainable agriculture.
We provide our farmers with training and resources for improved agricultural practices and higher yields

PROFITS FUND PROCESS

We reinvest our profits directly into the communities of our farmers, ensuring that our success translates into tangible benefits for them. With our majority stakeholder being a nonprofit organization, our achievements ripple outwards, amplifying the positive impact we can make. As Prospera grows, so does our capacity to do more good, fostering sustainable development and enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve.

Currently, our primary beneficiary is Opportunity International Nicaragua, a US-based 501c3 non-profit dedicated to serving the Nicaraguan poor through economic, social, and spiritual development
